The Thinking System library is published under AGPLv3.
Thunk (the product) is available under the Thunk License with commercial tiers. Personal use is free and unlimited.
Thunk License
Thunk is free for personal, single-node use. Run one node, modify the source, and learn from the code—all at no cost. Commercial use (multiple nodes or providing services to third parties) requires a Commercial License.

Token-Fixed Pricing
All licenses are priced in THUNK tokens. On-chain tier fees and caps are read from the LicensingPolicyRegistry when deployed. License grants are automated via smart contract.
License Transfer (Sell-Back)
Licenses are transferred via council-mediated sell-back — not direct peer-to-peer. Holders sell back to council for license_fee − 30%; council reissues to new buyers at full fee. Council co-signature required on all transfers.
